Some members who are in isolated circumstances such as in remote areas of the far west of the USA have no way of uploading books but do appreciate the downloads to brighten ones day. Why give a choice of ways to download if no selection works after a log in after reading the Fiction books bay e mail?

The torrents for certain files never load. Among these are Sandra Brown’s tough Customer, Catherine Coulter, etc.
Why are these never available. I can download the torrent, but when I open , the file never appears, it keeps saying downloading but does not.
The availability is always red. If these files are not being shared, why aren’t they removed.

Please follow these steps,
1, locate the desired fiction book(s) on your drive,
2, use your bittorrent client to create a torrent file, (for more help, check out http://torrentfreak.com/how-to-create-a-torrent/). If you wanna find some open trackers, you can use the following,

3, login to the user center and click “share my fiction book”,

Hello
Does anyone know if the Torrent downloads are DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected? I have downloaded to my computer and when I look into my Kindle documents I can see the file, yet it does not show up as a new book. I have a 3rd gen Kindle. I have down loaded from other free sites with no problem.

well I have a lot of pdfs that I want to upload, like a whole library basically, except I can’t/don’t know how to make it into a torrent file, so I was wondering if it was possible for the site to allow you to upload pdfs straight without the whole torrent stuff :L?

Just to say, I had the same problem as Tux above, I could not register while using Firefox, I tried using IE and it worked fine, and I can now login using Firefox, but it must be something in the site that doesn’t like FF on that page. Hope this helps future users.

Please remove these books from your site. These are not free books, they belong to the authors, who should legally be paid royalties for them, and they are published by Solaris Books.

I’ve noticed that lately releases tend to come in large clumps, almost as if you are using a moderation queue, and are only able to manage it on certain occasions. If this is the case, I would strongly suggest adding additional moderators, for no other reason than to maintain redundancy.

I am not unsympathetic to the plight of authors, musicians etc. but we seem to have forgotten, in this digital age, that people share books and music, resell books and music when they no longer need them. Books have been traded, borrowed etc for centuries and music since the record album. No one called it piracy when I loaned my Nancy Drew books to other girls in my class in 1976, the government really didn’t care that the cute guy next door was listening to an Ozzy album I bought and paid for in 1986. Seriously - what these companies need to do is recognize that not everyone is motivated by a desire to deny them and their artists an income - alot of people are unintentional pirates because they have read something wonderful or been moved by beautiful music and want to share. That desire - to tell others about what we have discovered - leads to fame and bestsellers. What these companies need to do is recognize that this desire to share a much loved book or a newly discovered singer is not going to go away - so incorporate it into every purchase. If I buy your Nancy Drew e-book, let me pass it on twice. If I download your record - let me share it with 2 people. I have never shared electronically before - and only ever downloaded music I had already purchased in another format - because I am old enough to have paid for the record album, the cassette tape for my car, eventually the CD. Enough! But I have always lent and borrowed books and I see no need to stop this just because the format has changed. If it isn’t wrong to lend a paper copy - it should not be wrong to lend an e-copy. As soon as I figure out how to do the torrent thing I will be happy to share my library. If that makes me a pirate so be it…

Going to the main page takes you to a Kloxo default page with the message, “If you are seeing this page, it means that web has not been configured for this domain on this server.” I managed to “get in” by clicking on a link to a specific title from the twitter feed. This site is facilitating theft. These books are not available for free, you and everyone who downloaded them are stealing. It is because of you (and other sites like this) that fantastic authors are having series cancelled and left incomplete. So when you’re bitching about no more books in a series for you to STEAL just remember…it’s your fault. Also, karma is a bitch and I’m sure she has your number.

For over a week there seemed to be nothing added to the site. Then a few days ago, four or five new additions. Thanks. Especially since one of them was something I was waiting for. Sadly, Nothing seems to be downloading. I’m not a newbie. I’ve used your site to download many books and do appreciate you. Can you tell us what the trouble is?
It would be really wonderful if you would add a news or announcement section where you could mention when there are problems like this or where you go on your frequent vacations.

Sorry..but this site isn’t about sharing a paperback copy of ‘Nancy Drew’ with one or two friends..this is VERY much about the digital age abusing the entire concept of sharing. Every book here has not been downloaded one or two times, but hundreds, some thousands. What you are doing is willfully committing a crime. Yes. You are willfully and knowingly stealing from someone everytime you hit download. I’m sure its something you teach your children. You are no better than pickpockets, bank robbers or those cowards who roll old people and snatch their handbags…And, regardless of what you think, its not just ‘companies’ you’re hurting - which I have noticed you all feel you can soothe your conscience by blaming them for making a profit. Yes, the bastards, how dare they make a profit inorder to hire and pay staff who inturn need to earn a living. And lets not forget the poor author who also needs to get paid.
You are willfully (yes, I repeat this word as I like to make damn sure you KNOW what you are doing is wrong, so dont be so bloody ignorant) taking the money from someone who has spent many months (or more) working to produce something before ever seeing a cent.
I am certain you would be happy going to work tomorrow, only to be told ’sorry, would really love to pay you this week, but unfortunately someone stole the company money. Hopefully, we might be able to pay you next week..but you wont mind working still for nothing, yeah?’
I live to see the day when authors finally have enough and simply stop writing.

I once read a book I have no idea what the title or author is called.
It was about two childhood friends. The girl is in love with him but he loves her older sister who rejects him after finding out he is the 2nd son of a Duke and won’t inherit the title. His sister falls off a horse and becomes blind. Humiliated his father buys him a place as a soldier in war. His brother dies.
Meanwhile the girl is married to an older gentleman who already has a son. He humiliates her after she finds him in bed with a maid, on the fact she cannot give him children when in fact she is fine it is him who has the problem. His son was the result of his wife’s affair not his own.
Later he dies and she is left alone as a widow. Her husbands brother moves in and treats her as a servant. He tries to get her in bed but with the help of a servant she escapes every time. Her friends force her to come to a ball - dressing her up where she meets her old friend who has returned from war.
To cut the story short she becomes pregnant with his kid, they marry, the Duke’s sister falls in love with a servant and later they live happily ever after with two kids of their own.
